Its strange how it works. you may find yourself at one point trying and trying to get through to them, waiting by the phone with some dream that they will come to their senses. a hope that they will find the magic that you can clearly see. then after a few weeks you stop trying, then a month goes by and you don't feel so sad. before you know it you are over them and couldn't believe that you had acted so obsessive over someone so insignificant. then before you know it they miss you, or need closure, or whatever.. and they have to talk to you, or want to see you, or whatever..
I was watching High Fidelity tonight and in the film ( and the book for that matter ) the main character is obsessed with making top 5 lists. well tonight I decided to make a top 5 of my own.
